Front End Loader

A snowplow (also spelled snow plow, snowplough or snow plough, see miscellaneous spelling differences) is a vehicle, or a device intended for mounting on a vehicle, for snow removal and sometimes ice from outdoor surfaces, typically those serving transportation purposes. In many cases, pickup trucks and tractors are outfitted with plows to fulfill this purpose. In areas that regularly receive large amounts of snow every year, and also in specific environments such as airfield, specifically snow plowing winter service vehicles are used for quick snow removal jobs.

 

Salting, sanding, de-icing

Salt and sand is being put on the surface prior or during a snow fall. In this industry it is called salting and sanding. De-icing is the process of removing frozen contaminant, snow, ice, slush, from a surface. With our safe snow removal products like road snow and chloride we can safely clear any roads and places. About slow melting salt

The salt does in fact melt the ice! When salt is dissolved in water and then is frozen, it takes a lower temperature to freeze the solution. A sodium chloride solution will freeze at -10 C, which is 10 degrees colder than the freezing point of pure water. Sodium chloride (NaCl) provides two ions for every mole of salt dissolved. Road salt, or rock salt, is calcium chloride (CaCl2) and provides three ions for every mole of salt dissolved. The more ions present, the lower the freezing point of the solution. Different salts are used throughout the country depending on what temperature range is expected.

In situation where we cannot go with our equipment we will do a full manual snow removal work. You access paths or any access ways to the front and back entrance will be clean soon after the snow fall.
